FOR COSMETIC TATTOO?
If you have any current health issues or concerns, please read ahead to make sure you are a good candidate to get any cosmetic tattoo procedures done.

*** Due to possible complications to COVID-19 vaccinations, you must not have any permanent makeup procedures for atleast 14 day before and after receiving your complete vaccination***
Accutane or Retin-A - Must wait at least a year after stopping to have any cosmetic procedure done.
​
Chemical peels, IPL, laser treatments, botox and filler - Must be done 4 weeks before and/or after. Tattooed surface must be avoided.
​
Asprin, Advil/Ibuprofen, Niacin- Must not take 48 hours prior to you appointment as this will thin out your blood and affect the results.
​
Fish oil/Omegas, Prenatal vitamins, Vitamin E, Vitamin B3, B6, Gingko Biloba & Evening Primrose Oil -
Must not take 48 prior to your appointment as this will thin out your blood and affect the results.
​
Alcohol - Must not have 48 hours prior to your appointment as this will thin out your blood and affect the results.
​
Menopause - Hot flash during your appointment may cause pigment to not retain properly
​
Time of the month - Can cause more sensitivity
​
MRI - May feel burning sensation when getting your scan done. Recommended to wait until your MRI to have cosmetic tattoo done.
Iron Deficiency - Color may fade faster. Recommended to take iron deficiency supplements at least 6 weeks prior to appointment.
​
Cancer - If you are in remission, you will need a doctors approval and written permission before having cosmetic tattooing done.
​
Cold Sores (For lip blush clients) - You will be prone breakouts after having this procedure, so it is required that an anti-viral medication (Zovirax) be taken prior and after this procedure. You can obtain "Zovirax" from a doctor's prescription and must be taken 3 days prior and 4 days following your appointment, or as recommended by your doctor or pharmacist.

Diabetes/Hypoglycemia - Must have this under control and balanced with medication. Easy to get infection if it's not under control.
​
Asthma - Regular use of and inhaler can cause thinning of the skin and increase vascularity which can cause you to bleed more easily and sometimes become prone to bruising around tattooed area.
​
High Blood Pressure - Pigment will not retain as well. Must be under controlled.
YOU ARE NOT A CANDIDATE FOR COSMETIC TATTOO IF​
You are pregnant or breastfeeding
​
You have hormonal imbalance as you are more prone to infection
​
You have eczema, psoriasis, keratosis pilaris, rosacea or dermatitis as this won't hold pigment well and can cause any of these skin conditions to trigger a flare up around the area.
​
You are prone to chronic acne especially around the brow area as you are more prone to infection.
​
You are prone to epilepsy and seizures
​
You have hemophilia or any other bleeding disorders
​
You have hepatitis or jaundice
​
You have AIDS/HIV
​
You are prone to keloid scarring
​
Problems with healing
